April 12, 2005 PRESS CONFERENCE LAUNCHES THE SEX PARTY

POLITICS FOR A SEX-POSITIVE FUTURE

The Sex Party, a non-profit society and registered political party in British Columbia, announces that it will:
*run candidates in the BC election
*host fundraising events with live-sex art installations
*sue BC bureaucrats for interfering in our election campaign
*take action against Canada Post officials for refusing our
election brochures

At the press conference the three-member executive of the party will:
1) outline the Party's sex-positive platform
2) introduce our candidates
3) describe our edge-pushing fundraising events that include live-sex art performances
4) introduce performers involved in the events
5) discuss details of our legal campaign against the capricious and sex-negative prohibitions of provincial liquor licensing bureaucrats. Murray Mollard Executive Director of the BC Civil Liberties Association will give his view of this matter.
6) expose the abitrary, sex-negative policies of officials at Canada Post.
