The Sexosophers' Cafe

Modeled after the popular Philosophers' Café sponsored by SFU, The Sex Party is hosting monthly gatherings at cafes in Vancouver to discuss interesting sexual issues. We gather at cafes or other locations 7-8.30 pm on the Sunday indicated below. Members of the public are invited to participate.

Next Sexosophers' Cafe: (none in April) Sunday May 14, 2007. Is Christianity sex-negative? What does the Bible say about sex? What has been your experience with sexuality and your church? Come tell us your story, or what you think.

Our first Sexosophers' Cafe provoked a lively discussion. We talked about the consituents of gender, including genes and social conditioning. We discussed testosterone, masturbation, orgasms and did a round table survey of gdner differences in the group. It was personal and intellectual and fascinating.
